The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic of Greece, His Excellency, Giorgos Gerapetritis on the occasion of their country's Independence Day Anniversary.
Nigeria's Minister said that as the country celebrate this significant milestone with Greece, Nigeria recognizes the rich history, culture, and enduring democratic values that define the Hellenic Republic.
Nigeria, he said, values the cordial relations between the two countries and remains committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, maritime security, tourism, and cultural exchange.
A statement by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, added "Therefore, we look forward to deepening our partnership with Greece in the spirit of friendship and shared prosperity.
"Nigeria congratulates the Hellenic Republic of Greece on this joyous occasion and wishes its government and people continued peace, progress, and success." it stated
