For more efficiency, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following qualified Nigerians to serve in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy:
For the NIGERIAN COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (NCC), the President appointed Abraham Oshadami as the Executive Commissioner, Technical Services, Rimini Makama as the Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as the President/CEO, Digital Bridge Institute.
Under the NIGERIAN COMMUNICATIONS SATELLITE (NIGCOMSAT) Limited, the President appointed Abiodun Attah as the Executive Director, Technical Services, Aisha Abdullahi as the Executive Director, Finance & Administration, while Jaiyeola Awokoya was named as the Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development.
Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju was appointed the Managing Director/CEO for GALAXY BACKBONE (BB) Limited.
While Mohammed Sani Ibrahim is the Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services for GALAXY BACKBONE (BB) Limited, Olusegun Olulade is the Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing and Olumbe Akinkugbe to serve as the Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services.
With the reconstitution of the management teams in these agencies, President Tinubu, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, anticipated that these seasoned professionals will deliver "excellent service to elevate the impact of the digital economy sector on the socio-economic development of the nation."
