The former Minister of Science and Technology under immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, is dead.
Dr. Onu was the first civilian governor of Abia state.
According to sources close to his family, the former Minister died on Thursday in Abuja after spending three weeks in an undisclosed hospital.
Official statement from his family was yet to be released as at the time of filing this report.
