Some residents of Abuja have besieged an accident scene involving a truck loaded with beer, armed with buckets to fetch free beer.
The incident happened around 4pm. near Berger roundabout.
The truck had veered off the road as the driver lost control. But no life was lost in the accident.
After the accident occurred, some passersby and motorists were seen helping themselves with bottles of beer as they surrounded the truck.
The incident also attracted the attention of some Abuja “Big Boys” with exotic cars and SUVs as they hurriedly pulled over and joined in.
Many residents were seen going home with crates of beer while others brought buckets and filled them up.
A report by SaharaReporters said that the management of the company had ordered the driver to allow people to drink the content to avoid waste.
Meanwhile, some road safety officers were on standby to tow the truck away.
