2024 Civil Service Week Begins With Juma'at Prayer

To mark the 2024 Civil Service Week, the programme of activities is starting with Juma’at Prayer on Friday, 14th June, 2024 at the National Mosque, Abuja. 

This year’s theme is “Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong, Quality and Relevant Learning in Africa.”

A statement by the Director, Communications in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, M. A. Ahmed, listed other activities "For the weeklong celebration are slated for Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June, 2024. They are a Virtual Interactive Session with Civil Servants, Parley with Media Executives, Public Service Lecture and Public Presentation of a Civil Service Culture Handbook, Commissioning of FISH Housing Estate at Gwagwalada, Sports and Aerobics, Award and Gala Night and finally, an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service, respectively."
 
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the statement said, is inviting Civil-Public Servants, stakeholders, the media, as well as the general public to join in the celebrations. 

"All events will be streamed live on the OHCSF’s social media platforms." the statement concluded.
