The Emir of Kano, His Highness Muhammad Sanusi II, has extended his congratulations to the people of Kano for the successful completion of 1445 AH and the commencement of 1446 AH.
He wished the entire Muslim community a peaceful year ahead.
Impressed and humbled thousands of Muslims, particularly His Excellency, Governor of Kano, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf; he wished him a peaceful and successful year ahead.
The Sarkin Kano also offered prayers for the nation, President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tunibu, and Sultan Abubakar Sa’ad, who are "dedicated to the peace, unity, and progress of the Muslim Ummah and Nigeria as a whole"
In a statement issued on Sunday, he prayed that Allah would eliminate conflicts among Muslims and enhance Nigeria's diversity for the betterment of all in the coming year and beyond.
Emir Sanusi II also advised the nation to maintain peace and stability during the celebrations of the Islamic New Year.
