The Federal Executive Council (FEC) Monday approved the sale of crude oil to Dangote Refinery and other local refineries in Nigerian currency – Naira.
The chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr Zacch Adedeji, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents after the FEC meeting chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to him, local refineries would pay for crude oil in Naira instead of United State Dollars.
