Shettima, Prof Utsev, Edun, Others Attend African Caucus Meeting In Abuja

Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Engr Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev, Minister of  Finance and Coordinating Minister of Economy Mr Wale Edun, Ministers of Agriculture,Trade and Investment and CBN Governor on Friday led Federal Government delegation to attend the 2024 African Caucus meeting in Abuja.


The meeting with the theme "Facilitating Intra-African Trade ,A  Catalyst for Sustainable Economic Growth in Africa" was also attended by Prime Minister of Rwanda Dr Edouard Ngirente and over Forty Central Bank Governors from Africa and Deputy Secretary General of United Nations.

This was contained in a statement issued by Terhemen Oraduen, Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the occasion called on Africa to take charge of its economy, make it stronger and viable.
He informed delegates at the meeting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has embarked on strategic reforms aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians, ensuring economic growth and development.
