Towards improving on portable water supply in every parts of Nigeria, the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Engr Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev, on Monday 12th August, 2024 joined other delegates at the ongoing World Water Congress in Toronto, Canada
The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is scheduled to hold in Toronto, Canada from 11th to 15th August, 2024.
The global event, which is for water professionals covering the entire water cycle, brings together stakeholders and key contacts within the conventional water sector and beyond.
It also brings together core water sector groups, such as those focused on urban water and urban water services, as well as participants from industry and agriculture, architects and urban planners, soil and groundwater experts and hydrologists, social scientists, the ICT sector, the financial sector, and others.
With a strong representation and contribution from Canada and North America, the IWA Congress & Exhibition is a vital opportunity to learn about the North-Atlantic water challenges and solutions, including through technical site visits.
The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2024 follows the resounding success of the 2022 World Water Congress & Exhibition edition held in Copenhagen, Denmark. With a remarkable turnout of nearly 8,900 participants, it was a truly celebrated event.
Programme for the 2024 Congress include keynote plenary sessions with panel discussions, a comprehensive technical tour programme, a full Business Forum programme in the Exhibition hall.
Others are more than 100 technical sessions, more than 60 workshops
cross-cutting and special sessions on themes such as inclusive sanitation and utility net-zero actions.
The five dedicated forums of the congress are : the Groundwater Forum, the Industrial Water Forum, the International Water Regulators Forum, the Utility Leaders Forum, and the Emerging Water Leaders Forum.
It will also showcase an Operations Challenge in the Exhibition hall
