The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) on Monday declared that the recent online publications concerning recruitment and employment procedures linked to the Office are false.
It urged members of the public to disregarded the publications.
A statement by Eno Olotu (Mrs),
Head, Information and Public Relations, reads "These publications are undoubtedly the work of fake and fraudulent job racketeers and scammers.
"The OHCSF wishes to further state that all matters of recruitment and employment in the Federal Civil Service are statutorily under the purview of the Federal Civil Service Commission and any other government institution authorised to do so.
"All Federal Civil and Public Service employment opportunities will be published on official Government websites and portals."
It also stated that the person and institution referred to in the online publication do not exist.
The portal listed, it also noted, is neither that of the Federal Civil Service Commission (www.fcsc.gov.ng) nor the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (www.ohcsf.gov.ng).
"We advise the public to remain cautious and vigilant, as this is the most effective way to combat fraudulent recruitment schemes and unauthorized solicitations for payments in connection with Federal Civil Service employment." the statement said
