The Chairman House Committee on Sports Honourable, Kabiru Amadu has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their well deserved victory over Libya in the 2025 AFCON Qualifying match in Uyo on Friday.
The Super Eagles picked all three point against their opponents with a 1-0 win to maintain top spot in their group.
Reacting after the game, the lawmaker said " the Super Eagles showed resilience and hardwork, defeating their opponent despite a good fight posed by the Libyans.
The Zamfara state born lawmaker added that " the NFF has done a great work in picking the right technical crew for the Super Eagles pending the appointment of a substantive Coach ".
The Chairman however charged the boys to go to Libya next week to secure all three points in Benghazi.
