ARCN Boss Congratulates Sen Ladoja As 44th Olubadan Of Ibadanland

The executive secretary Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria ARCN Dr Abubakar Adamu Dabban, has congratulated the Imperial Majesty Oba (Sen) Abdul-Rashidi Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Dr. Dabban who was at the coronation ceremony on Friday, 26th September in Ibadan, Oyo State, described the new Oba as a father indeed. 

He congratulated the people of Ibadan and Oyo state as a whole.

The ARCN Boss, in a statement by Khadijat O. Ameen, Head, public Relations ARCN urged Nigerians to continually be supportive and patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as some of the reforms have been successful because of their support.

Dr. Dabban said much work is on going to reform the Agriculture research system thereby bringing sustainability to Nigeria's food system.

Dignitaries at the event included the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji; and the Governor of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.

Former Governors were Donald Duke of Cross River, Olagunsoye Oyinola of Osun State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, and Sen. Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State.

Heads of Agricultural colleges and institutions like, Prof. Lateef Oladimeji Sanni, Executive Director Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, , Dr Rasheed Folorunsho, Provost, Federal college of Agriculture, Akure, Dr. Abdulganiyu Ibrahim Federal Cooperative college Ibadan. 

The Royal fathers at the event includes Sultan of Sokoto and co-chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, Alhaji Sa'ad Muhammad Abubakar III, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade and the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, were also at the ceremony.
