Declaring Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, popularly known as “Gentle The Yahoo,” wanted, the Nigerian military, through the Joint Task Force South East, Operation UDO KA, has offered a N30 million reward for credible information that can lead to his arrest.
In a notice declaring him wanted and circulated by the security task force, Okorienta was described as a threat to peace in the South-East.
It therefore urged members of the public to provide information that could assist in his arrest.
The notice states that “a reward of N30,000,000” awaits anyone who provides credible information leading to the capture of the suspect.
It further urged residents to support efforts to curb violence and criminality in the region, with the message: “Give Peace a Chance.”
The military provided two channels for members of the public to submit information anonymously: 193 and 0806 795 9570.
Okorienta’s photograph appears prominently on the wanted notice, which carries the campaign message “No Violence, No Criminality in the South East.”
The declaration comes amid intensified security efforts in the South-East targeting individuals suspected of involvement in violent and other criminal activities.
Members of the public have been advised to avoid confronting the suspect themselves and instead pass any credible information to the security authorities through the designated channels.
