Ex–Minister Gwarzo Thanks President Tinubu, Says 'My Time Was Brief, But I’m Proud Of Our Progress'

The immediate past Minister of State for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, has thanked President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve the nation in that capacity. 

Gwarzo, who was affected on Wednesday by the cabinet reshufflement, said that his tenure brief but proud of the progress made during the period. 

He said “Serving as the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development has been a valuable experience, 

“I appreciate President Tinubu for assigning me this role and allowing me to contribute to the nation’s affairs.”

During his tenure, Gwarzo worked on addressing housing challenges and promoting urban development.

On the progress made, he said “Although my time was brief, I’m proud of the progress we made. I congratulate the incoming minister and wish them success,” 

As he steps down, Gwarzo reaffirmed his continued focus on Nigeria’s progress. 

“Leadership is about serving with integrity. I remain committed to supporting Nigeria’s progress, even outside government.”

In concluding his statement, he expressed his best wishes to President Tinubu, while expressing hope for the administration’s future.
