CSOs Set to Honour General CG Musa (rtd) With Nation Builder Award in Integrity and National Service

The committed advocacy, leadership development, and capacity-building groups under the auspices of the *National Council For Civil Society Organisations (NACCSO) and Vision-One Leadership Development Initiative (VOLDI)* have expressed their readiness to honour *General CG Musa (rtd), the immediate past Chief of the Defence Staff, with the "Nation Builder Award in Integrity and National Service"* at the *3rd Edition of Nigeria's Nation Builders Annual Award 2025*. 


The event is scheduled to take place on *Thursday, 13th November, 2025, at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja, at 12 noon*.

This announcement was made by the *National President, Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Johnny,* who expressed heartfelt gratitude to *Gen CG Musa rtd* for his dedication to promoting peaceful coexistence, unity, and economic prosperity in Nigeria. 

According to Johnny, "We feel fulfilled as CSOs, glad and proud to honour a military general whose leadership qualities are worthy of emulation. A leader whose leadership qualities, diligent service, and passion for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria will forever be appreciated by Nigerians who love peace and national development."

Johnny also disclosed that, aside from General Musa (rtd), several other notable Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields and will be honoured, including:

Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, Registrar/CEO of NECO, with the Nation Builder Award in Educational Development
Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, Managing Director of NELFUND, with the Nation Builder Award in Educational Development
H.E. Silas Agara, Director-General of NDE, with the Nation Builder Award in Entrepreneurial Development and Job Creation

Hajiya Aisha Ahmed Audi, National President of CDOWA, with the Nation Builder Award in Women Empowerment and Humanitarian Service
Dr. Sa'id Alkali Kori, Group CEO of Thinklab Group, with the Nation Builder Award in Innovative Business Development and Humanitarian Service
Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Olotu, Director of Finance and Accounts
Mrs. Lois Ihwo Andrew, CEO of Dee Utesils

Mr. David Raymond Edet, an emerging leader among others shall be honoured greatly.
