The Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has successfully concluded a two-week intensive training programme at the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN).
The programme, which began in Keffi, Nasarawa State on Monday, 8th September at ACAN, which is the research and training arm of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), ended on Friday, 19th September 2025.
It was the 2025 edition of the Certificate Course in Corruption Investigation (CCCI).
A statement by Maryam Umar Yusuf, Head, Information and Public Relations Unit, RMAFC, added that it was designed to enhance the capacity of participants in modern anti-corruption practices and investigative skills.
The training, it said, provided ACTU members with the requisite knowledge to identify, prevent, and address corruption risks within the Commission.
"The initiative is in line with the determination of the RMAFC Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, OFR, to strengthen professional competence accountability, transparency, and service delivery among the management and staff of the Commission" the statement stated
Reflecting on the exercise, the ACTU Chairman and Director of Audit, Mr. Idris Musa described the training as “A rewarding experience that has broadened our understanding of investigative procedures.”
He said that members of the Unit would be returning with renewed commitment to apply the knowledge gained to strengthen internal controls, foster ethical conduct, and support the Commission’s mandate.
