TCN Restores Power to Aba-Itu 132kV Transmission Line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that power supply has been restored through Aba-Itu 132kV Transmission Line after the completion of work on a conductor  at about 7:02 pm.

The incident which led to a temporary interruption of supply from 10:38 am to 7:02 pm on Tuesday was to enable TCN crew amend red phase cut jumper conductor on Tower 142.

Consequently, Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC), according to TCN Management, can now off-take electricity for supply to its customers in Uyo, Eket, Ekim and Itu, previously affected by the incident.

TCN apologised for the inconveniences experienced by the affected areas during this outage.
